Sunday Evening Fellowship
Yesterday was such a beautiful day that we thought we should take advantage of it and have a cook-out. Our church group was rather small in the morning, so we decided just to invite everyone that was there for an evening of fellowship. Everyone helped with food, (I even got a nap in in the afternoon, after being at Gerald and Krista's for lunch!) and we had a blessed evening of food, fellowship and games.
the guys had the beanbag game going

some of them played croquet before supper
and of course, roasting the hotdogs.
The food everyone brought was quite yummy and the evening was beautiful. We trust a good time was had by all!

Is yard Blitz like Dutch Blitz or what...? And do you make the game yourself or where can you get it? Thank you in advance!
It looks like a fun night. :)
@Iamsaved4ever - Yes, the yard blitz is just like Dutch Blitz, only big cards and you have to run with them, of course. Believe me it's a work-out! I think maybe you can buy them at some Amish stores, but we made ours.
We took 9x11 cardstock, 4 different colors. On one side print the numbers, then on the other side I just got logos or whatever off the computer and printed them out. ( We used a smiley face, dollar sign, teddy bear and an ant.) If you have a set of Dutch Blitz you can of course look at that to make sure you get it right. Each separate color has it's own logo. Then we covered each card with contact paper, but if you'd have access to a lamintor, that would be even better. Have fun!
Is that beanbag game cornhole? Looks like a fun night. Our neighborhood was having a block party tonight and it was nice during supper time, then it rained and poured and I am drenched right now!! :) Oh well. It was actually kinda fun running home in the rain. Have a good weekend!! ~Ashley
